How to place signature banners and avatars

First you need to get an image hoster. I use photobucket, it is free.

Open your photobucket account, and click browse



Select your image by double clicking on it and click on submit




A message will come up in red writing to say your image has been successfully uploaded




To install a signature banner copy the IMG code under your image




Go to your profile and click on modify profile. Another page should have appeared, scroll down until you see signature box.
Copy the IMG code into the signature box.



To center the image you will need to add these codes

at the front of the signature code, and

at the end of the signature code. You can copy and paste them from this page.



Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on modify.




You should now be able to see your signature banner




To install your avatar copy the URL code under your image.
Go to your profile and click modify profile. Scroll down until you see a box that say Avatar URL. Paste the code into the box.



Set the size at 100 on both height and width unless your image is not perfectly square. If your image is not perfectly square you may have to use trial and error to get the avatar size correct.

Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on modify.



You should by now have successfully installed your signature banner and/or avatar. If you have not please get in touch with me for help.
